I started making and selling Uneek Treats in 2004 to offer a truly healthy option for dogs because, at that time, I could not find any quality treats to offer my two fur kids, Serch and The Zappa.
My new version of Uneek Treats came about the same way as the original. My girl, Bree-z the dog begs relentlessly when I would enjoy my puffed quinoa cereal. With one simple ingredient that was good for both of us, I didn’t mind sharing.
The process of making my own treats and learning about a better ingredient taught me that not only were the ingredients I was consuming of poor quality, the state of ingredients in pet food was even worse.
The mass food production system does not allow for us eat the way nature intended, which is live foods full of moisture and naturally abundant in vitamins and minerals.
As a Chef and suffering with my own struggles of mass-produced foods, my passion that has since become a mission is to help everyone have the option and education to consume a better diet.
Since our pets are dependent on us for their nutrition, the importance we place on their diet is the difference in living a long, healthy life.
Uneek Treats are a people treat for dogs that is a complete protein snack offering a proper balance to any daily diet and one we can feel good about giving.

My mom decided to make these treats because I helped myself one day to her bag of organic puffed Bolivian quinoa cereal.
It turned out OK because like my mom says, they’re 100% organic high-protein quinoa that is puffed at a ridiculously hot temperature for extra deliciousness and crunch but still full of nutrition. My Mom is a Chef and she says I’m supposed to have lots of protein so I can stay strong and healthy. She loves that these are a great recovery snack after our long walks in the woods.
